We got a good feeling about Thursday's Ports 1961 runway show from the moment our invite (a day planner with events already penciled in, plus a packet of rosemary seeds for the garden we always plan to start) arrived in the mail. And now, we can see more of what designer Tia Cibani has in mind. "My collection is inspired by the relationship between discovery and invention," Cibani said today. Mysterious, we say, kind of like the dark cape silhouette and hooded hat shown in this sneak-peak sketch from the fall collection.
If you, like us, are curious to see what else Cibani plans for A/W10, then grab your laptop and head to Vogue.com this Thursday at 3 p.m. EST. The label will live stream its runway show for anyone with internet access and an obsession with the goings-on at Bryant Park. Getting a front-row seat from the comfort of your own home might be ideal - especially considering the snowstorm facing all the East Coast fashionistas and their heels this week.

Jessica Alba was all smiles on the red carpet yesterday at the premiere of 'Valentine's Day' in this green embroidered dress and matching shoes.

Kristen had arrived with black roots in blonde hair, and Linda arrived with black roots in blonde hair; and both of them went mad, both saying they were first.
She told Love

Johnny Talbot and Adrian Runhof met in a bar in 1991. A year later, the duo from Nashville (Johnny) and Mainz (Adrian) released their fashion label Talbot Runhof in Munich, and since then they've made their mark on fashion in Germany and abroad. Retailing now at high-end stores like Bergdorf Goodman, Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus, the brand offers luxurious eveningwear with special touches designed to make each wearer memorable.
This week, we go into the Tablot Runhof studio - which, as we learned, is sometimes hard to find.

Lorenzo Martone - who recently set up a model-only boutique PR company with clients such as Lydia Hearst and Alessandra Ambrosio - is currently exploring the realms of swimwear. The Cut reports that Martone and Jules Kim designer of Bijules jewellery are working together on her debut swimwear line, which is "in development." Although Kim plans to launch the line next spring, we're still not precisely sure of the role Martone is playing. But we expect that the way in which he'll marry the two aspects of his work (models and swimwear), will be something worth watching.

Vogue's editor-at-large, the one and only Andre Leon Talley, will soon be pulling up a chair alongside Miss Tyra and Nigel Barker as a judge on America's Next Top Model. Taking over from J. Alexander (aka 'Mr J'), who has now gone over to head Canada's Next Top Model, Talley's appearance on the show proves things worth having are worth waiting for.
In an interview with WWD, Talley tells how Banks initially approached him to be a judge before the model search show even got off the ground. Understandably, Talley declined. He said: "At that point, I said no because it was the beginning. I was thinking I wanted to see where it goes." And now, as we eagerly await the launch of cycle 14, it seems like the time is right for Talley to come on the show, so much so that he has even signed up for three cycles.
Talley continued: "I've seen the success of Tyra in many facets of her life. So I felt maybe I could contribute something to it that had not been on the show. I just felt that it was a way to step out of the box and associate myself with a very important American success story, a very important brand - Tyra Banks."

Even though Madonna is no longer the face of Louis Vuitton, it seems her Fall 2009 campaign pics are still very much of interest. The Queen of Pop, who is known as much for her music as she is for her taut abs and (scarily) toned arms, appears to have become the latest victim of the dreaded Photoshop retouching debate. Although the true source of the leaked images is still unknown, speculation has mounted concerning the authenticity of the final image, which became the subject of LV's ad campaign.
Sassybella questions the reality of the 'before' images, though professional retouchers have informed The Cut that the 'before' shot looks real. We too are struggling to come to a definitive conclusion, but given that Madonna's trademark sculpted biceps are very much on display in the 'before' image, we're starting to warm to the idea that it might actually be the original unretouched image. True or false? You decide.

Jessica Biel went romantic in the asymmetric red and ivory dress with a matching red lip at the premiere of 'Valentine's Day'.
