Olivia Palermo,who started out as a 'social', became a household name since the launch of the MTV reality series, The City. Not content with her status as a reality TV star, the 23 year old has revealed that she is designing a jewellery range, in collaboration with Manhattan based designer- Roberta Freymann.
Following the completion of filming the upcoming series of The City, Palermo is now ready to embark on new projects showing that she is not only fashion savvy but business-minded too. 'I'm really excited actually.... I designed two styles that will go into her store and we're working on an exclusive retail deal, probably with Bendels.'
If Palermo's personal style is anything to go by, the collection is most likely to be an instant hit and a worthy rival to that of her co-star Whitney Port, who debuted her Whitney Eve Spring 2010 collection earlier this month at New York Fashion Week. We will definitely be keeping a look out for when Palermo's collection is due to hit stores so watch this space.
