The last few months have been full of speculation and rumours about who will replace Julie Gilhart as the fashion director of Barneys after she was let go in November by new CEO Mark Lee.

Taylor Tomasi Hill, Virginia Smith and Taylor Rutson were all rumoured to have secured the job at one point of another but last week Barneys announced the appointment of Amanda Brooks, former creative director of Tuleh.
