Just when we thought that Leighton Meester had beated Blake Lively to the post in the advertising campaign stakes after bagging deals with Vera Wang and Herbal Essences, recent reports claim that Lively has just bagged herself an even bigger deal.

According to sources, Lively has signed on to be the face of Chanel handbags. A source told The Cut that the 'Gossip Girl' actress has already shot the campaign in Paris and the ads are set to be released early next year.
