Ever fancied yourself as the next Mark Wahlberg, Jamie Dornan or Freddie Ljungberg? Today could be your big chance - Calvin Klein underwear have recently announced that their next UK in-store male model casting event will be taking place today, between 12pm and 5pm, at their Calvin Klein Jeans store on Regents Street, London. The prestigious panel of judges is said to include their current underwear muse - actor and model - Jamie Dornan, executives from renowned Select Model Management and key members of the media industry.

The event takes place as part of Calvin Klein's pan-European competition, entitled 9 Countries, 9 Men, which has seen the company scouting England, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Netherlands, Russia, Spain and Sweden. Photos from the events will be uploaded onto the site, www.9countries9men.com, from which the judge of panels will select one finalist from each of the nine countries. Those finalists will then go head to head in the grand finale to take place in April 2010, with the overall winner chosen by a public vote, to win a one year contract with Select Model Management and a fantastic, luxury trip for two to South Africa.

Previous scouting events in England have taken place in House of Fraser stores at Kent, Bristol, Birmingham, Manchester and Newcastle, where models were photographed at Calvin Klein pop up photo studios. Not only do the contestants get the chance to win an amazing contract and holiday, but Calvin Klein hopes that all competitors will experience being a professional model for the day, by being invited to pose in store and being photographed by a professional. Now, is it just us, or could this possibly be the best looking competition out there? We can't wait to see the finalists...
