Last night Carine Roitfeld hosted a private cocktail event at Gucci's newly renovated Rue Royale boutique and private dinner at Hotel de la Rochefoucauld Doundeauville in Paris to honour Gucci creative director, Frida Giannini. Guests at the event included Anna Wintour, Kate Moss, Mario Testino and Paolo Roversi.

Great compilation of photos, thank you. Every time I think the leopard must surely be extinct by now, I see really admirable fashion icons wearing it in a new way. This is like a world record for a trend, it's beyond the new black.
My vote for best look goes to Anja Rubik. That cinammon rust colour is just so beautiful with her colouring and tawny tan.
I'm sure this won't be the last we'll see of Carine: this will free her up to do the next phase of her life and career with such grace, joy, and style. And a lot of class.
