Regular readers will know how excited we've been to see who Carine Roitfeld would choose to front the cover of her last issue at French Vogue. Many, us included, expected that she'd go with one of the magazine's favourites like Daria Werbowy or Natasha Poly but last week she announced that new face Saskia de Brauw has bagged the cover.
You'll be forgiven for wondering who the Dutch model is. She was virtually new in the business was until she was introduced to Roitfeld backstage at the Givenchy show last season. "It is a fantastic honor that Carine Roitfeld decided to use me for the cover, and even more so as it is her final issue," she told The Cut. When asked about the cover's theme, she wasn't letting anything go besides saying that it will be "inspired by a movie, but which movie it is will have to be a surprise."
