Last week Tuesday I was in for a treat. To celebrate the launch of their new Bond Street store, Coach treated journalists to a special Coach cab - covered in the company's multicoloured print - to pick us up from our respective offices to come and enjoy the treats that they currently have in store.
With that in mind we would like to introduce you to their limited edition 41 collection. In true Coach fashion, the launch ties in many facets of the brand, as 41 is the street number of their new Bond Street store and also ties into the date that the brand was established in 1941, an era which continues to serve as their inspiration. It doesn't end there. This special collection can only be purchased in the new store and the pieces are already selling out.
The collection is everything you would expect from Coach, with each piece demonstrating a genuine commitment to craftsmanship. If you're looking for 'IT' bags and gimmicks, you won't find it here. Like the mainline, the focus is on quality classics that will see you from season to season, coming in a range of sizes from totes to shoulder bags and purses. Still not convinced? Housed in white protective boxes on the top floor of the store live a selection of bags from the late 60s to early 80s that are as desirable today, as they were when they were made.
Collection aside, the store alone is defintiely worth a visit. The menswear section is considerably bigger than the Westfield store but what they do have in common is that the attention is still on customer service. No tills preside on the shop floor and there's a comfy area - by the shoes mind you - where customers can relax and sit down after working up a sweat shopping.

Many thanks to The Communication Store
