If there's one book that I'm excited for this year, it's Grace Coddington's memoir, which is set to hit stores this November. While I had a always been a big fan of her work in Vogue, it was her appearance in 'The September Issue' where she was undoubtedly the star of the show that really sold me.
Much has been said about the book, which she sold to Random House for a reported $1.2 million, with many predicting that it will be a tell all. Yesterday at Paul Smith's 25 years on Saks Fifth Avenue party, she refuted the rumours saying: 'I’m 70. ... I’ve been in fashion 55 years. With Vogue 20 years. I’m not telling secret stories. Not writing ugly bad things to get back at anyone. This book’s not gossipy. It’s more a record.
Will you buy it?
