For Diddy, it's mo' money, mo' problems. For American Apparel, problems stem from having no money. Everyone's favourite one-stop for bafflingly small t-shirts and leggings of every variety narrowly avoided going bust today.
Don't you just love it when a last-minute, $80mil loan comes in to save your behind? American Apparel would have had to file Chapter 11 bankruptcy this lovely Friday the 13th if it couldn't renegotiate loan terms or raise at least $16mil.
At midnight when AA finalised the loan, it (phew) could pay off an additional $51mil loan and get a little space for a $60.6mil credit line from Bank of America. And I thought it sucked when you couldn't dig out enough change to get that next latte without going to the cash machine...

ew. i WISH they would close.
