It's clear to see that Julia Restoin-Roitfeld possesses her mother's fashion expertise, now that her self-shot images of her own modelling session with Tom Ford's buzzed-about women's wear collection for V magazine have hit the internet. Since the designs were shown to a select few at New York Fashion Week (with a catwalk show that included "real women" like Beyonce), every editor has been lusting after the collection, but it was Restoin-Roitfeld who snapped herself in custom looks and sat down with the designer himself for an interview.
It probably didn't hurt that the impromptu photographer's mum, Carine Roitfeld, is close with Ford, but the younger Roitfeld has worked with the designer previously, too. She was the face of Ford's 2006 Black Orchid fragrance campaign, and she joined the superstar catwalk group for his fashion-week runway spectacular. You can see more images from the shoot here, and in our opinion, the only thing that could have made it better would have been a Carine cameo.
