If you, like us, are stuck on Karen Elson's haunting, husky-voiced track "The Ghost Who Walks," then you'll be pleased to hear that the model-turned-singer has a concert coming up. Elson and her band will hit New York's Le Poisson Rouge on Bleecker Street on March 22 at 7.30 p.m. The Bleecker Street venue is selling tickets on its website for $15.
Elson's 12-song debut album, The Ghost Who Walks, is set to drop this summer and has been produced by Elson's husband, Jack White. This isn't the flame-haired beauty's first foray into music. In 2003, she added backing vocals to a Robert Plant song, and she's previously sung with Cat Power; Zooey Deschanel's group, She & Him; and her own political cabaret troupe, The Citizens Band. She's experienced, she's nailing the bluesy-pop vibe, and she has the expertise of White at her hands. Elson can't release the rest of her album soon enough.
