Karl Lagerfeld isn't usually one to be apologetic about what he says but his recent comments about Adele seem to be the exception. After the media decided to pick up on his 'fat' comments and run with it, Lagerfeld was quick to apologise and praise the singer for her music but according to recent reports, that wasn't the only thing that he was prepapred to do to prove that he's sorry.
'Karl has been filming for the new YouTube Chanel TV channel and mentioned his plans to patch things up,' a source told The Sun. 'He told his team to send Adele the best the fashion house have to offer after hearing she collected bags. He said he really wanted to make it up to her so they could maybe work together in the future.' According to the source, the designer already has his eyes set on her as potential future face of Chanel. 'He could see her fronting a campaign for Chanel Mademoiselle bags when the contract with Blake Lively ends. He's annoyed with himself because he ended up insulting her when he meant to compliment her. He thinks she's beautiful and calls her divine.'
