Fourteen of Britain's brightest talents in the menswear sector will debut at Paris Menswear Fashion Week later this month, as the LONDON showROOMS initiative will be launching a base in Paris from June 24-27. The exciting scheme is in collaboration with the British Fashion Council, Fashion East and The Centre for Fashion Enterprise, and will provide a place for the chosen designers to sell their collections with the aid of International marketing, media and sales advisers.
"LONDON showROOMS in Paris has been successfully running for four seasons and extending this to some of the best emerging menswear talent in the UK is a very exciting project," explained Caroline Rush, joint CEO of the BFC. "We are confident that this new menswear initiative will give our innovative menswear designers the means to further their global profile and businesses."
The 14 designers to show in Paris will be: Bernstock Speirs, Blaak, BOYOstudio, Carolyn Massey, Christopher Kane Men's, Christopher Raeburn, Miharayasuhiro + husam el odeh eyewear, James Long, Katie Eary, KTZ, Lou Dalton, Omar Kashoura and Tim Soar. The scheme will see the designers set up in Tranoi's Parc Royal in Paris, which will also play host to Jeanette's pop-up store, which will also sell a range of menswear designs.
