When the John Galliano controvery made the headlines back in March, Natalie Portman was one of the first celebrities to condemn the former Dior designer. Outraged by his alleged remarks, she made it clear that despite being the current face of the brand's Miss Dior Cherie campaign, she will not be associated with him in any way.
"I am deeply shocked and disgusted by the video of John Galliano's comments that surfaced today... In light of this video, and as an individual who is proud to be Jewish, I will not be associated with Mr. Galliano in any way," she said at the time. "I hope at the very least, these terrible comments remind us to reflect and act upon combating these still-existing prejudices that are the opposite of all that is beautiful."
With that in mind, many expected that the actress would not return to face the brand's latest campaign but she has surprised everyone by doing just that. Last week Dior released these images from their Diorskin campaign starring Portman. She's already been highly criticised for the move, but are the criticisms really warranted. After all, Dior has severed ties from Galliano and it is him, not the brand, that she said she did not want to be associated with.
What do you think?

I have no criticism for Natalie, it's as you say Dior has cut-off all ties with Galliano so I don't see the problem with her continuing to be the face of Dior. If Galliano was still working there, it would be a problem..
