Rachel Bilson has come a long way from her role playing Marissa's sassy sidekick, Summer Roberts, in The O.C. It seems her interest in fashion was not simply limted to her role. Since the show ended, she's worked with DKNY Jeans to launch a successful clothing line, Edie Rose, named after her grandmother.

After her stint at designing it looks like Bilson has taken an interest in magazines. Today it was confirmed that the actress will join the InStyle team with a monthly Q&A column in the magazine, similar to Chloe Sevigny's in British ELLE.

According to WWD, 'the actress will pen a monthly Q&A beginning with the May issue, answering readers’ style questions and revealing some of her favorite trends.'

“I am not planning on quitting my day job to be a full-time fashion editor, although I am really enjoying it and it intrigues me very much,” she said when the news was announced. “I’m actually flattered more than anything that people want to ask me questions about style. I am honored to do it.”
