While the fashion industry may be courting Lana Del Rey at the moment, Rihanna is still the big fish. When she wears clothes, they sell. Take Boy London for example. When she wore them on the Jonathan Ross show recently, their pieces sold out in Selfridges. As she told Ryan Seacrest on his morning show recently, the same is true of her capsule collection with Armani which she confirmed was 'very, very successful.'

Now she wants to capitalise on her own celebrity and is in talks about finally launching her own clothing line. 'I want to design. This is also a road that I want to earn it. So I’m working with designers. Designers that I respect, and [fashion] companies that I respect,' she said. 'I want people to really trust me before I just say 'Buy it because it's mine.''
