In The Studio With: Lingerie Designer Matthias Jaschke

Maybe I'm in a retro mood after watching '(500) Days of Summer' this weekend, but I'm really loving Wundervoll, a cleverly crafted lingerie line with hints of art deco and a little bit of 'Mad Men'. The German brand, designed by Matthias Jaschke, recently launched in the US and should have a whole new crowd of followers soon.

This week, Jaschke tells The Fash Pack about his emphasis on quality and confidence, and when Carla Bruni can be helpful.

Where's your studio?
In the heart of Berlin, an area called Mitte.

Who do you design for?
For women who love underwear that is extraordinary but not decorated.

Who's your ideal customer or celeb client?
Someone who values clear design and elaborate workmanship.

When do you feel most inspired to work?

Early in the morning, before the city awakes.

When is the worst time to work?
When it’s very hot outside.

What do you get on your lunch break?
Lots of different things to choose from here in Mitte - focaccia if I am in a hurry, risotto if I am very hungry.

What's on your iPod in the studio?
Alejandro Sanz, Joy Division, Carla Bruni…a strange mix.

When is the day over?

When I get too inefficient.
