Tory Burch's fall collection today was special, as it saw her stage her first runway show. In less that two years Burch has quickly risen up the ranks and proved herself to be a force to be reckoned with.
According to her show notes, this season was 'inspired by the idea of a prim girl who is under the spell of the wrong kind of guy. She's innocent and unaware of her own sex appeal', and it showed. While the collection wasn't ground breaking, the collection tapped into all of the ladylike themes that we loved from the spring shows. The mix of forties shaped dresses, ladylike over-the-knee length skirts teamed with pearl embroidered collars and rose detailed blouses teamed with gold structured skirts really worked.
