The past few months have gone down well for Valentino Garavani. Despite being retired, the designer has been busy appearing everywhere from the Oprah's sofa to the red carpet at the premiere of his own documentary, 'Valentino: The Last Emperor'.

On Thursday the legendary designer was honored again in Beverly Hills, as he was presented with the Rodeo Drive Walk of Style Award. Previous winners of the award include Tom Ford, Mario Testino and Donatella Versace.

The designer attended the event with actress Anne Hathaway, who became firm friends with the designer after meeting him on the set of 'The Devil Wears Prada'. “I feel as beautiful as I possibly can when I wear Valentino,” she said at the event.

His signature will be permanently placed on the sidewalk of the famous street.
