It's no secret that the last few years has seen a surge of new blogs. Today, everyone is desperately trying to get in on the action making it increasingly difficult to establish the bloggers with a genuine voice and perspective, with those simply hungry for the 'freebies'.

But relax, Cosmopolitan has come to the rescue. This week they invited me to the launch of their Blogger Awards where their aim is do exactly that. With your help, they want to find the best bloggers in five different categories. The process is simple. All you need to do is provide the web address of your favourite blog in a given category and briefly explain why you love it. From there if your blog has been shortlisted in the top 5 you'll be able to vote again for your chosen blog to win.
