From Runway to Realway, Matthew Williamson's S/S10 collection is already setting trends. With his return to London after 7 years, his latest show is a perfect celebration of London's 25th anniversary of fashion.  Although the show was a clear progression from his bohemian goddess looks of nearly a decade ago, the grown up glamour was a winning departure. The collection was awash with sugary tones and soft metallics, with the usual bold prints a lot more subdued, only appearing in a few signature pieces. Instead luxurious leathers, statement embellishments and cut-out details stole the show, but overall subtlety was the key for success.

Teaming leather trousers with a hint of pattern from her headscarf and jacket, this London based design student sums up the trend perfectly, whilst adding her own personal stamp to the look.

Sometimes you just feel like strapping on a pair of elaborate angel wings and prancing your stilettos down a glittery runway, right? Well, Victoria's Secret is offering US women a chance to realise that dream.

The lingerie giant is looking for a model to walk in the next Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. Entrants should be 18 to 35 years old, at least 5'8" in bare feet, and be available to be in New York from Oct. 29 to Dec. 3 to compete for the runway gig.

A racy Calvin Klein billboard turned heads this summer, but it wasn't in-your-face sexuality that drew attention at New York Fashion Week today. Instead, designer Francisco Costa sent a collection down the runway that took soft texture and weightlessness to the next level.

Rinsed silk was crafted into pale-shaded airy dresses, both for day and evening. At times, the fabric became translucent enough to show a hazy glimmer of a model's silhouette underneath. Interesting? For sure.

We're not sure how this will translate into sales, but we know that once again, Costa has pushed boundaries at Calvin. And drawing buzz is always priceless, isn't it?

The 3.1 Phillip Lim customer will always be youthful, probably, which makes flirty, abstract dresses like the above style, worn by Karlie Kloss, ideal. But there's something to be said for maturing, which Lim definitely did this season. Sure, maybe his woman wears her power suit with shorts, or trousers rolled to the ankle, but she has places to go either way.

And so it was grown-up clothing on the Lim runway, but not without the designer's signature whimsical touches. A floaty blouse was drenched with polka dots. A tuxedo jacket worn as a dress glittered with silver sequins. And as for this season's increasingly popular crocodile print, Lim chose to splash that with sequins, too.

With a selection of it girls (Leighton Meester, Alexa Chung, Olivia Thirlby) sitting front-row, Lim seems to have popularity under control. And we don't think a standout collection for spring can hurt, either.

Doo-Ri Chung continues to be the fashion-loving woman's fashionista. Around The Fash Pack, we group her with designers like Rachel Roy and the Mulleavy sisters of Rodarte because of her knack to create fashion-forward pieces that still consider the silhouette.

Case in point: a draped, strapless, dusky-blue dress sent down the runway for the Spring '10 Doo.Ri show. It's a rare talent to use a large amount of fabric over a little area and have an attractive result. Also, the sheer black cocktail dress Chung created didn't leave us sick of seeing exposed knickers through evening wear, but rather admiring how much a cute little frock could resemble a Spanish fan.

Chung included tougher touches, like grey lipstick and chain-embellished footwear, and it's those rough touches she throws in that make us love her even more. We say this designer stays in the inner circle. What about you?

Anna Sui's like the ringleader: She calls the shots. And she says that come spring, we'll all be wearing metallic, cut-out, studded gladiator boots. In electric blue, naturally.

Sui's usual hippie vibe was infiltrated with notes of marching band (hello, epaulet jackets), teenage preppy (fits with the 'Gossip Girl' collection she recently made for Target), and '80s (dresses paired with shorts). One of our favourite looks would have to be the fitted jumpers worn with tartan mini skirts: oh-so-Jenny-Humphrey.

But we think people will talk about those boots more than anything. Would you wear them?
