Chanel Iman wore this strapless dress, which echoed the light, airy and romantic theme we saw in the Spring/Summer 2010 shows last month, to the 2009 GQ Gentleman's Ball in New York.
What do you think of her look?

Lindsay Lohan has been the recipient of some seriously negative press in the past but more so since that Emanuel Ungaro collection was unveiled at Paris Fashion Week earlier this month. As curiosity mounts as to why she has been selected to act as artistic advisor to the 'once-revered' fashion house, Claudia Croft of 'The Times', was fortunate enough to secure an interview with the newly blonde starlet to find out more.
Not only did Lohan actually turn up, albeit a little worse for wear having suffered from a bout of food poisining a couple of evenings before, she also had attempted to tidy her hotel suite for the interview and photoshoot by Ellen von Unwerth. Despite the tidying session, Lohan's suite was still said to be 'strewn with Ungaro clothes, shoes, make-up, jewelry and a lampshade', presumably some of the $90,000 worth of swag she had got her hands on from a sweep of the Ungaro boutique when she touched down in Paris.

Okay, we'll admit it, we take a guilty pleasure in watching fashion reality television shows. So it's no surprise that we did get a little too excited when we heard that MTV has another in the pipeline - Styl'D. As the title suggests, the series will centre around stylists, as we watch five junior assistants run around endlessly for three high-end celebrity stylists from the Margaret Maldonado Agency, including tasks like prepping Kim Kardashian for an event. From watching the teaser trailor, we think of it as a combination of The Rachel Zoe Project and Project Runway - so that'll mean another night in by the television, then.

Versace is a brand which is known for it's uber glamourous ready-to-wear designs and has gained a strong following for its show-stopping, eye-catching and sometimes over the top 'recession-proof' evening gowns. So imagine our surprise when we heard that the label will be axing around 350 jobs, which make up approximately 26 percent of its worldwide workforce, in addition to closing down any underperforming stores such as stores in Japan. Drastic, huh? Well it seems that the current economic climate is to blame for these far-reaching changes, which is said to be having adverse effects on the luxury goods industry as a whole, to the extent that the likes of Oscar de la Renta, Chloe and Givenchy have lowered their prices in a bid to lure shoppers back into their stores.

Quintessentially British brand Mulberry has announced the release of a range of men's and women's laptop bags for Apple. The nine-piece collection will include laptop bags, laptop sleeves and mini cross-body bags, in tan, black and an eye-catching pink, all of which will still resemble previous classic designs, such as the Bayswater and its male counterpart, the Brynmore, in tan and black.

Oh how we love a good high street collaboration, and looking at the preview pictures of Sonia Rykiel's lingerie collection for H&M, this will be another one that we can't wait to get our hands on. Modelled by the likes of Lara Stone, Anne Vyalitsyna and Caroline Trentini, Rykiel's collection boasts beautiful black pieces with baby pink corsages - girly, pretty and still a little bit provocative.
Set to roll out in 1,500 H&M stores worldwide as well as Sonia Rykiel boutiques fromt the 5th of December, Nathalie Rykiel, the president of Sonia Rykiel admitted 'This collaboration fits perfectly with our philosophy... The Sonia Rykiel pour H&M lingerie collection is the ideal way to offer the essence of Rykiel to a great number of women around the world, and a beautiful way to close the year", she explained of the partnership.

Mother/daughter relationships often fall into two categories- good and bad, and it seems celebrities are not immune to this general rule either. Tamara Mellon, CEO of the Jimmy Choo empire, is reportedly suing her mother, Ann Yeardye, for a breach of contract. Mellon claims that in 2004 the pair had entered into partly oral and partly written negotiations as to who got what in the sale of Jimmy Choo to Lion Capital, at which time it was agreed that mother would get cash only and daughter would get the stock.
In a slight twist however, Yeardye somehow managed to make off with stock estimated at $6.3 million. This latest court room drama is definitely something Ms Mellon could clearly do without.

Louise Gray knows how to make us smile in general, but her new collection with The Smiley Company for Spring/Summer 2010 pleases our need for both cute clothes and giving back. The British designer showed a five-piece women's capsule collection at London Fashion Week - think a bustier, t-shirt, jacket, dress and skirt - mixing the traditional smiley face and Gray's offbeat style.
The Smiley Company, which focuses on engaging graphics and ethical production methods, has agreed to give 10 percent of proceeds to charities that will help third-world countries establish healthcare and school systems. So if you need to turn your frown upside down, and if you also appreciate good work with silk, hand beading, Swarovski crystals and maybe a tassel or two, has Louise Gray got a collection for you!
