Searching for the perfect wedding gown? Listen up. We've been accustomed to lusting after the Temperley Bridal collection, and now we can unveil (no puns intended) another designer, turning their hand to the bridal market, much to our delight. Alberta Ferretti revealed her bridal collection in Milan in July, and will be bringing her collection to The Designer Wedding Show, next weekend in London. The new collection by Ferretti will be showing alongside designers such as Valentino, Elie Saab and Sassi Holford, so is definitely the place for fashionable brides-to-be... and maybe those of us who aren't engaged, too. We can window shop, right?

We've seen - and got used to - the likes of Daisy, Pixie, and Alice on the catwalk. So could our very own Lily Allen - the new face of the Chanel Cocoon bags collection - be walking for Chanel herself? The singer-turned-model will 'definitely be at the Chanel show' this Tuesday, but only time will tell whether the Brit sensation will be sat a la front row, or whether she'll be rocking the catwalk as well as the campaign for new found friend Karl, who are supposed BFFs. For now, we'll have to simply sit and wait for Tuesday to get here...

Opening with a sheer polka dot shirt and nude layered skirt, it immediately became apparent that at last, Nina Ricci had been returned to its girly sensibility with Peter Copping. Starting off with a succession of nude pieces, layering was key in Nina Ricci's Spring Summer 2010 collection - layered lacy skirts and peachy cropped leggings, ladylike cropped jackets and sheer diaphanous capes.

From Runway to Realway, Matthew Williamson's S/S10 collection is already setting trends. With his return to London after 7 years, his latest show is a perfect celebration of London's 25th anniversary of fashion. Although the show was a clear progression from his bohemian goddess looks of nearly a decade ago, the grown up glamour was a winning departure. The collection was awash with sugary tones and soft metallics, with the usual bold prints a lot more subdued, only appearing in a few signature pieces. Instead luxurious leathers, statement embellishments and cut-out details stole the show, but overall subtlety was the key for success.
Teaming leather trousers with a hint of pattern from her headscarf and jacket, this London based design student sums up the trend perfectly, whilst adding her own personal stamp to the look.

Jil Sanders' new +J Uniqlo collection hit stores yesterday morning, welcomed by a queue of Sander-enthusiasts trailing down Uniqlo's flasghip store in Oxford Street, all waiting to buy a taste of the minimalist German designer's legendary sharp cuts and sleek femininity. The first couple in the line had flown in especially from Scotland that morning, according to Grazia.
"There is no great difference between design in exclusive and in larger numbers, if you keep a close eye on the production," Sander said to The Times. "I like to reduce a piece of cloth to its essence. I am not interested in ornaments; to me, quality depends on the harmony of shape and materia;, on a truly modern design vision, and on the effort;ess beauty of the three-dimensional form."

Following the positive feedback of Glamour magazine's September issue, featuring Lizzie Miller in nothign more than a G-string and smile- who, at 180 pounds, falls into the plus-size category of models- the magazine shows off more plus-size models in its November issue. Editor-in-Chief, Cindi Lieve's blog, noted the readers' responses "started to flood her inbox" the day the September issue came out.
In the shoot for the magazine's latest issue, seven plus-sized models, include Lizzie Miller, pose nude, proving that beauty really does come in all shapes and sizes. "I was just shocked and amazed and overjoyed at the reaction that Lizzie's picture got," said Lieve on The Ellen Degeneres Show, who mentioned that readers "seemed like they were starved for any kind of image that in any way looked like what they saw when they looked in the mirror. We thought why not do more?" It looks like Glamour is setting the ball rolling; leading the way for the inclusion of more realistic-looking women in fashion

If there were ever one thing associated with Paris fashion, surely the word 'chic' would come to mind? And that's exactly what Vanessa Seward channelled for Azzaro's Spring Summer 2010 collection. Prim and proper cocktail dresses were in abundance, in a classic palette of cream, black, and the occasional splash of navy, cobalt and muted blue. Hemlines were kept above the knee - short but still classy - embellishments were subtle, with feathers and beading in similar hues to the dresses, and fabrics were sheer and flowing.
With hair sleek and tied back, classic red lips, and nude cutesy heels, Seward went for the simplistic approach to her latest collection for Azzaro - evoking a timeless feel. There were a few references to the Greek culture towards the end of the show, with Grecian style ivy head decorations and gold and white draped dresses that seemed a little lost within the rest of the collection, however highlights included a suprising embellished jumpsuit, and cream, fully feathered coat.
