Taylor Jacobson Leaves Rachel Zoe

We die (although most people could probably see this one coming). Taylor Jacobsen, who's worked with Rachel Zoe for the past four years and featured on Bravo's 'The Rachel Zoe Project', is no longer with Rachel Zoe Inc. Sources claim she was fired, though a rep for Zoe would only say that she's left the company.

Jacobson often butted heads with Zoe and her coworker Brad Goreski, and she had stated on the show that she felt unfulfilled with her career. She wrote on her Twitter account: "Today is an end of an era and a beginning of a new professional chapter. Looking forward to what the future brings...!!!"

There's no word about how this will affect Zoe's reality show, but we can only hope it's just as bananas as ever.

Comme des Garcons + The Beatles = Underwhelmed Critics

Image via Comme des Garcons

The first images are coming out for Rei Kawakubo's design collaboration (for Comme des Garcons) with The Beatles, and so far the reactions haven't been as stellar as you'd imagine with such a powerhouse link-up. The collection features items including this bag, which mixes the CdG signature polka dots and the Apple Corps Ltd logo.

Kawakubo respected Sir Paul McCartney's request that none of the bags be made of leather, so all pieces feature printed PVC or embossed polyurethane. Items in the line will sell for $115 (for a t-shirt) to $860 (for a higher-end bag), and they'll start selling at the Trading Museum in Tokyo on Nov. 20. Adrian Joffe, Comme des Garcons CEO, said to WWD that the line will branch out slowly to other international stores, with new styles added gradually.

So what about you: Is this what you'd expect from a Beatles bag? Will you buy from the line when it's in stores near you?

One To Watch - David Koma

With both Cheryl Cole and Beyoncé Knowles wearing his dresses within the past week, we're not suprised that Central St Martins Graduate David Koma was a happy man. "I have been working with Beyoncé and her team to create a unique dress and knew there was a possibility she may wear it, but when I saw her last night she looked absolutely incredible!" an ecstatic Koma told Vogue.com yesterday. Firstly, Cheryl Cole chose a statement Koma dress for her Saturday night appearance on The X Factor, followed by Beyoncé who wore a dress from the same collection to pick up her award from the MTV Europe Music Awards.

"Beyoncé represents the ideal woman that inspires me, I'm delighted that she wore my dress to collect her award and feel privileged and incredibly proud that a worldwide superstar has shown such support", Koma announced. Even after becoming a Harrods Design Award winner, Vauxhall Fashion Scout Merit winner and showing at London Fashion Week for SS10, Koma was still overwhelmed at the feedback to the dress worn by Cheryl Cole from his AW09 collection, available now. "Cheryl is an amazing, beautiful, super sexy woman - I really like her and I was very flattered when I saw her in my dress," Koma exclaimed. "This week I'm a happy man, it's a very exciting time right now!"
