Says costume designer Hope Hanafin: "I wanted the clothes to be classic and have a life beyond this time. People will be watching this film 20 years from now and looking at the clothes."

Eva Mendes and Jamie Dornan have been invited once again to be the faces of Calvin Klein, with jobs set up for the Spring 2010 Denim Campaign. As the stars of the label's current campaign, the duo are photographed drenched in water, with their limbs entangled together in a racy pose. However, it would seem that not everyone is a fan of the billboards, and some New York residents have gone as far as to call for their removal.
At present, there is no confirmation of what we can expect for the upcoming campaign, which is to be shot by Steven Klein, but we can be sure that it will most likely involve a scantily clad Eva, draped in some way or another all over Mr Dornan. And as for whether the new campaign will face similar criticism, only time will tell, but if one thing is clear, then it's that Ms Mendes will surely deal with any negative reactions in the same way she has done in the past - ignoring them. Having had her advert for the Calvin Klein Secret Obsession perfume banned by US TV network bosses - the one in which Mendes seductively writhed around on a bed in the nude - she replied by saying she was "thrilled" that the advert was considered too saucy. Naughty girl!
Jimmy Choo Black Suede 'Hilde' Thigh High Boots $956

Thigh-high boots may have been the most unexpected trend to stick around throughout AW09, but after being flaunted by the likes of Rihanna, Madonna, Blake Lively and even Stella McCartney herself, we’re sure the warming winter boots are here to stay.
Wear with a cosy sweater dress, underneath a chic black coat a la Carine, or vamp it up with a rocky biker jacket and short shorts to get the Alice Dellal effect. There’s the classic options – thigh high, leather and heeled, or comfy suede flats – or if you’re feeling fierce like Rihanna, try the perforated Stella McCartney’s (faux leather, naturally), Hussein Chalayan's strapped pair or Topshop’s very own lace up, hiker style boots.
The catwalks of SS10 focussed entirely on the legs, with enough thigh-skimming hemlines to scare any hibernating pins, so although Spring may seem the time to dust off those legs in preparation for Summer – weather permitting – we feel it might be somewhat more sensible to invest in a good pair of thigh highs to keep those legs warm come next year.

Life must be amazing for Tavi Gevinson at the moment. The 13-year-old blogger du jour, who has captivated the world with her daily blog entitled Style Rookie, was featured in Pop magazine earlier this year and also bagged front-row seats at New York Fashion Week (and even missed school to be there). As if that wasn't enough, WWD has now reported that the kooky (mini) fashionista will be venturing to Tokyo to attend the Comme de Garcons holiday party on 27 November at the 10 Corso Como store, as the guest of honour. and her quirky dress sense, not only landed the cover of
Tavi must feel as though she is the luckiest girl in the world right now, especially given that she has previously blogged about her love of Rei Kawakubo and how she "scatters black petals her doorsteps and serenades her in rap". We can only imagine how jealous her school friends will be on her return.

That's right, she's Heidi Samuel. The 'Project Runway' host was granted approval at a Los Angeles court hearing last Friday to use her husband Seal's surname. Although the couple married four years ago and have had three children together, until last week, Klum had retained her own name.
The supermodel, who surprised audiences at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show last week by taking a turn down the catwalk, has not stated yet whether she will continue to be called Heidi Klum in her professional life. Either way, we bet Karl Lagerfeld doesn't care.

Since it was launched 46 years ago, the Pirelli calendar has become the most coveted calendar of all time. Given to a select few Pirelli customers and VIP celebrities as a corporate gift (perhaps to mark the festive season), the calendar is famed for its photographs of the most feminine and beautiful supermodels pouting their way from cover to cover.
The 2010 calendar, shot by Terry Richardson in Bahia and Brazil, sees some of the highest-profile models photographed in various stages of undress. With the likes of Lily Cole, Daisy Lowe, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Miranda Kerr, Abbey Lee Kershaw and Catherine McNeil, amongst others, being photographed either nude or topless, the main aim was to ensure that there was "no make-up, no reflectors - only the flash of the camera - no branded clothes or jewellery, and no girls altered surgically" involved in the shoot. Of course you know we couldn't resist sharing a few images with you, though be warned, they may invoke a twinge of jealousy.

Affordable fashion chain Target couldn't really offer us any more in the way of designer collaborations, but forever providing us with designer pieces at a snippet of the usual price tag, this summer will see Cynthia Vincent and Eugenia Kim producing ranges for the store. Look forward to a summer filled with flamboyant hats from milliner Eugenia Kim, whose designs have been worn by the likes of Nicole Richie and Ashlee Simpson, and a range of heel heights, including cute signature flats from Cynthia Vincent.
The Eugenia Kim range for Target is set to launch 18 April, followed shortly by Cynthia Vincent's offering, so lthough it may be four months to wait, the ever-so-thoughtful Target are giving us time to save up. After all, we can never have too many shoes... or hats, for that matter.
We came up with the idea of this girl who lands from outer space in Paris. She gets on a train that comes to a halt in Pinkland, where pink girls get on and off. Then they go into this fairy-tale forest and little lady bugs and butterflies land on them and vines grow up on their clothes. Then, there’s Tick-Tock Time; the wings in this section are based on clocks — there’s one modeled after a pocket watch with metallic feathers. And she ends up in this regal realm of princess-ness, where the wings have Swarovski jewels and peacock feathers.
Obviously.
