Swimsuit Season: The Time Is Nigh

Or it's already here. While Naomi holds down the fort, I'm on holiday in Dubrovnik, thanking Mother Nature for creating climates more appealing than the one in the UK. Translation: It's nice to see the sun again, especially when the sun is shining on a beautiful beach.

Which brings us to an ever-important question that always comes up this time of year. Have you picked your swimsuit? We've selected some of our favourites to build you up for beach time.

French ELLE Goes Back-to-Basics

French ELLE managed to bag supermodel Eva Herzigova, Sophie Marceau and Monica Bellucci to cover their April issue. But this isn't just any other cover. None of the covers are retouched and the none of the women wear a drop of make-up.

I'm still trying to work out why they all still look so amazing. Hopefully this will make the industry think about the amount of retouching they use, particularly after the awful photoshop used on Halle Berry's Harper's Bazaar cover.

Vogue US May Issue: Girls of the Moment

Appearing on the Vogue's 'Faces of the Moment' feature is what an Oscar is to an actress. Like a Prada show, it can make a model's career.

2007 saw the feature 'The World's Next Top Models', and the latest issue of Vogue US presents a brand new set of girls deemed 'Faces of the Moment', with a cover shot by Steven Meisel.

Rate or Slate: Star Trek Surprise

When I think Star Trek, I don't think lots of skin and goddess dresses. But that's what author and model Tara Moss brought to the premiere of Star Trek XI in Sydney. I'm not sure the top is the most flattering, but the colour is understated and elegant. Your thoughts?

Hair: Bang on Trend

From top left: Cheryl Cole, Camilla Belle, Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez, Kim Kardashian, Lily Allen, Tyra Banks, Vanessa Hudgens, Rachel Bilson

2007 was the year of the blunt fringe. Everyone from Beyonce to supermodel Kate Moss were sporting the severe hairdo. 2008 was all about the cropped look. We saw everyone from Katie Holmes and Victoria Beckham to Rihanna taking the chop, trading their long locks for short looks.

So far this year it seems like everyone is reverting back to bangs. Will you?

Rate or Slate: Katy Perry

Katy Perry normally doesn't get it wrong. I like the fact that she's wearing a suit and being daring with the print because suits are everywhere this season. However, I think she might have taken daring a bit too far with the print. I might be wrong. Do you disagree?

Mischa Barton Talks Body Image to Cosmo UK

Is it me or had everyone forgot about Mischa Barton for a second? I think she must have realised that too because she seems to be on a press trail at the moment. For the annual 'Naked Body Confidence' issue of Cosmopolitan UK, Mischa Barton spills about the changes in her weight over the past few months and how happy she is now.
