The Annie Leibovitz shoot with US astronauts Buzz Aldrin, Sally Ride and Jim Lovell for Louis Vuitton has surfaced, showing us the first look at Marc Jacobs' project to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the moon landing. The campaign will appear in a number of international magazines starting in July.
Exactly a month from today, the company will launch louisvuittonjourneys.com with an interactive video of Leibovitz's photo shoot and interviews with the astronauts. It's hard to say if that'll be a small step or giant leap for the internet.
Oh, the one little finger that can spark oh so much speculation. Lily Cole was spotted with a bit of extra bling this weekend as she strolled about North London with her boyfriend (or fiance?) Enrique Murciano.
The 21-year-old model has been dating the 'Without a Trace' star, 35, since last year. Are wedding bells the next step?
After a few months of red hair (prompted by a Vogue shoot), Coco Rocha has darkened up her look. A lot. The model showed off her almost-black tresses on her blog, OhSoCoco, over the weekend. Does it flatter her?
London Fashion Week's 25th anniversary is shaping up to be quite the spectacle. Burberry Prorsum will be showing in the UK capital, and now we hear Matthew Williamson will bring his runway show here instead of his usual New York.
The designer tells Vogue.com: "I am thrilled to be returning to London Fashion Week this September. Since holding my first show here in 1997, it has always been very special to me. This season's schedule is shaping up to be a truly great show of the spectrum of British talent around today, from established brands to young labels."
Or so says the rumour mill. US Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour allegedly is eyeing a spot in the Obama administration, potentially as an ambassador to Britain. Wintour's contract is coming up for negotiation, and a source tells Page Six: "She's a smart woman and is looking to forge the next phase in her career."
However, a rep for the editor denies, denies, denies. "Not true," the spokesperson says. "Anna is looking forward to a very busy fall here at Vogue."
Here's a preview of the fall '09 Versace campaign, starring a non-pregnant Gisele. It seems the brand wants to stick with what works, as this shot looks almost identical to an ad shot from spring '08. But we're still buying what Gisele is selling.
