Hey, New Yorkers: Get yourself to Soho, and quick. The long-awaited Jérôme Dreyfuss boutique has come to the city, making the NYC shop Dreyfuss' first stateside. Already, the designer has won over the cool girls in Paris, with well crafted handbags that mark the perfect balance between luxury and it-factor.
What's even better about the new boutique? Dreyfuss designed the space to mimic the weekend retreat he shares with his wife, Isabel Marant. The store is set up as a modernist-rustic cabin, blending a 19th-century interior (from when the space was a men's fur shop) and the ultimate in modern design (Dreyfuss bought two Ron Arad modular couches straight from MOMA).
Inside, the designer will sell a capsule collection of bags exclusive to the New York boutique, including "best hits" from his previous collections, and designs he simply "won't let die." That's enough for us. We're headed to 473 Broome Street now.
