Rate or Slate: Rachel McAdams Got Experimental In Azzaro

Rachel McAdams stepped out of her usual feminine comfort zone and opted for something edgier than usual as she arrived back in New York after attending the Cannes Film Festival.

The actress attended the Cinema Society and Thierry Mugler hosted after party for 'Midnight in Paris' in this black Azzaro jumpsuit with a bow at the neckline and subtle sheer pannelling down the front teamed with simple black Louboutin heels.

Rate or Slate: Kirsten Dunst Continues To Support Rodarte

Kirsten Dunst has been relatively quiet but with the launch of her new movie, 'Melancholia', which premiered yesterday at the 64th Annual Cannes FilmFestival, it looks like we'll be seeing a lot more of her. As you would expect, Dunst stepped out in Rodarte wearing this halterneck style dress teamed with Swarovski jewelry. Unfortunately this look didn't wow us but you might disagree.

The CFDA Has Big Plans For 50th Anniversary Celebrations

The CFDA has become a firm fixture on the fashion calendar and next year they are set to host a huge event to mark their 50th anniversary. WWD reports that a large-scale exhibition will be opened at New York's Fashion Institute of Technology Museum next February to celebrate the occassion. The exhibition will feature pieces from every designer who has ever been a part of the organisation such as Marc Jacobs and Alexander Wang.

The exhibition is called Impact, CFDA chairman Diane Von Furstenberg explained. "We will look at the most impactful areas of American fashion, with a piece for every member to be part of it. It's being designed so it can travel."

David Beckham Finally Expands Into Design

For years people have speculated about David Beckham launching his own line and now the rumours are finally true as the sports star prepares to launch his debut line - a collection of men's bodywear featuring both separates and underwear.

"I have had the idea of doing a bodywear collection for some time now," he told WWD. "The push to do something of my own really came as a result of my collaboration with Armani. They told me that their gross turnover in 2007 was around €16 million (£14.1 million), and after the campaign in 2008 it went up to €31 million (£38.7 million), in 2008. It proved to me that there is a real market for good-looking, well-made men's bodywear."

Riccardo Tisci Tells Friends He's In At Dior

As if it wasn't clear already, more reports are coming in confirming Riccardo Tisci's move to Dior. The designer is said to be currently looking for an apartment in New York after being offered a sizeable amount by the brand and has told close firends that the deal has been secured.

As we explained, the official announcement will not be made until September for legal reasons but based on the mounting reports, it looks clear that Tisci has the job in the bag.
