Quote Me: June Ambrose Wants 'Work In Progess' Type Clients

I like broken starlets. I love to fix things. ... I would love to get like a Courtney Love. Lindsay Lohan I'd be brilliant with.

Tommy Ton Says No To A Book Deal

Leandra Medine isn't the only blogger doing well off the back of her blog. Street style photographer favourite Tommy Ton is doing just that. As well as continuing to shoot for GQ and Style.com, he recently designed a two-piece collection for Club Monaco and has been working with magazine's like Harper's Bazaar on full-on fashion editorials.

Having done all of that, a photobook in a similar vein to that of Yvan Rodic or Scott Schuman seems like the logical next step, no, but in a recent interview with Exposed Zippers, Ton confirmed that he has no plans of going down that route. 'I was approached but I think I should wait because my photos are a documentation of what goes on outside the shows and it's changed quite a bit over the last five years,' he said. 'I think I will wait another five years to see how much the shows have changed since then.'

André Leon Talley's Reality TV Career Isn't Over

If you are missing seeing André Leon Talley on the small screen since he passed the ANTM judging baton to Kelly Cutrone, I come baring good news. Bravo have just announced that they are working on a new fashion show in which the Vogue editor will play a prominent role.

According to the press release : 'We follow four up-and-coming fashion design teams as they produce the defining collection of their careers, all under the watchful eye of fashion icon André Leon Talley. The mission to “create, show and sell” is clear for emerging designers striving to build a business in New York City, which remains the heart of the fashion industry.' While I will never give up an opportunity to watch him on TV, the show doesn't seem to add anything to the already staurated fashion reality TV show market.

Do we really need yet another fashion-design show?

Stefano Pilati Talks YSL, Working With Tom Ford And The Future

Stefano Pilati was the designer of choice to speak at this week's French Institute Alliance Française as a part of their Fashion Talks series and as you would expect, the event pulled in a full house.

It's not clear whether they bagged him to talk at the event after the announcement of his departure was confirmed but either way, it was perfect timing. Everyone from Joseph Altuzarra to Derek Blasberg attended the event and naturally, his departure from the brand and his plans for the future were the main point of conversation.
