US Vogue's November And December Cover Stars Confirmed

US Vogue has had a good year as far as its covers are concerned. Meryl Streep, Jennifer Lopez, Lady Gaga and Marion Cotillard are just some of the good cover stars its had this year and by the sounds of it, the magazine is set to end the year on a high.

Last week, Annie Leibovitz revealed that Rihanna and Anne Hathaway will respectively cover the magazine's November and December issue. Who will cover which issue isn't clear but the timing makes sense for both stars. RiRi has just dropped a new single, Diamonds, and will release her seventh album in November and Hathway's new film, Les Miserables (the one she cut her hair for), is out in December.

Did Carine Roitfeld Sign Up With Harper's Bazaar To Make A Point To Condé Nast?

You've probably heard the news by now but, as you can imagine, it's too good not to comment. Carine Roitfeld has officially signed on as the new global fashion director of Harper's Bazaar. Aside from the fact that it means that we can expect to see a lot more Roitfeld-styled shoots (hurrah!), the move is a big middle finger to Condé Nast, who haven't shied away from criticising the former Vogue Paris editor recently.

According to a press release, Roifeld will work with Harper's creative director Stephen Gan (who she also works with on CR Fashion Book) on several fashion stories each year, which will appear acroess the 26 intentional editions of the magazine. 'This collaboration marks the first time anything like this has been done and we're very excited about what Carine will bring to Bazaar editions around the world,' Hearst CEO and president Duncan Edwards said in a statement. 'She is a visionary in the fashion world and we are so happy to be working with her.'

Jennifer Lawrence Looks Refreshingly Natural On The Cover Of British Vogue

Say hello to Jennifer Lawrence's cover of British Vogue's November issue. If you're anything like me, on first look, you might be slightly disappointed. Admittedly, the cover is a lot less glitzy than some of the actresses most recent ones but it's this reason that it's really grown on me.

It might sound really basic but the charm of this cover is that she actually looks liker her. Not following me? Just take a look at her face. At a time where retouchers are being overzealous with Photoshop, having a cover star look this natural is becoming increasingly rare. The dress, from the Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2012 collection, is intricate enough for it to warrant being on the cover but doesn't detract from her beauty.

I'm slightly crazy about it but what do you think?

Nicole Kidman Redeems Herself On The Cover of Harper's Bazaar

On the whole, Nicole Kidman is a good cover star. Her one for Vogue Australia's May issue is still one of my favourites from her, so much so that I'm willing to put the monstrosity that was her V magazine cover to one side. That aside, she really did need to pull it out of the bag for her latest one and thankfully she did.

The actress appears on the November cover of US Harper's Bazaar glowing in a gold dress alongside cover lines that ironically say, 'Sexy & Age Appropriate' and 'The Daring Issue.' Even more ironic is the fact that the cover was shot by Terry Richardson. Considering how revealing her Mario Testino-shot V cover was, you would have thought that was more Richardson's bag but credit where credit's due, he's actually done a good job with it.

Rate or Slate: Ashley Greene Got The Bandage Treatment In Antonio Berardi

British designers continue to go from strength to strength on the other side of the pond. Mary Katrantzou and Peter Pilotto are increasingly popping up on the red carpet in Hollywood but Antonio Berardi is definitely leading the pack when it comes to dressing celebrities. Nicole Richie wears his designs and so does Elizabeth Banks but over the weekend it was Ashley Greene's turn.

The actress sported one of the fitted white bandage style dresses from Berardi's resort 2013 collection to attend the third annual Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic event and the outfit suits her and works for the occasion. To finish the look off, she teamed the dress with a pair of nude Giuseppe Zanotti pumps, which don't work particularly well but aren't too bad considering the off-white panels on the dress.

Sienna Miller Is Making The Comeback We've All Been Waiting For

Most of my teens were spent trying to emulate any look that Sienna Miller was sporting at a given time. Over the last few years though, her fashion star has waned but now, just three months after giving birth to her first child, it looks like she's set to make a comeback both on the big screen and sartorially.

Over the weekend she arrived at the Hamptons International Film Festival wearing a dress and cape by Alessandra Rich that shared an uncanny resemblance to the Tom Ford creation that Gwyneth Paltrow wore to the Oscars. And the look really worked for her. While the whole bohemian things worked in the early 00s, it was time for a shake-up and the more polished looks that she's come up with over the last few days are promising hint at what's to come, especially since she's out and about now promoting her latest film, 'Factory Girl'.

Uniqlo And Comptoir Des Cotonniers Partner Up To Get You Ready For Winter

Puffa jackets aren't anything new but when Christopher Bailey showed them over traditional suits at Burberry's A/S13 menswear show, it quickly became apparent that they would make a comeback and they definitely have. Peter Pilotto showed them last too season and now, Comptoir des Cotonniers and Uniqlo have embraced it.

The pair have teamed up to create, Mademoiselle Plume, an ultra lightweight version of the more traditional puffa that we all know, which is said to combine the French brand's aesthetic with the Japanese retailer's technology. The unique feature is the lightness. The combination of light nylon and feathers makes it warm but without the bulk.

According to Comptoir des Cotonniers style director Delphine Ninous, the aim of the partnership was 'to offer a fashionable, feminine and lightweight down jacket in line with the lives of today's women.' And it makes sense. You want something that keeps you warm and dry but still makes you feel confident. The fact that you cold fold it away in your bag without it getting creased isn't a bad thing eiter. Am I queuing up to buy one right now? Well no, but with the weather getting worse, ask me in a few weeks and my answer might be different.

The jackets are limited edition and are available to buy in Comptoir des Cotonniers and UNIQLO stores now priced at £85.

Say Hello To Eva Chen's Replacement At Teen Vogue

When Eva Chen confirmed that she was leaving Teen Vogue, the news came a surprise. What with such a strong presence on social media, Chen has become one of the major faces of the magazine over the past few years so her departure came as a surprise. What her next step will be is still unclear but what we do know is that her replacement is about to start at the magazine.

Last week former Glamour senior beauty editor Elaine Welteroth was confirmed as her replacement and will officially begin in her new role on October 15. 'I will be responsible for the direction of the beauty content in the magazine and online,' she explained to Fashionista in an interview. When asked about how she feels to be stepping into Chen's shoes, she couldn't be more complimentary about her predecessor. 'I couldn't be following up a better act,' she said. 'We've definitely spoken about the role - she's been incredibly supportive through and through,' she revealed, and by the sounds of it, she's set to be a fitting replacement.'
