Last night, amfAR, The Foundation for AIDS research, held thier amfAR Milano event that ran alongside Milan Fashion Week.  The foundation, who have held their events everywhere from New York to Venice, opted for Milan this time around due to the Italian fashion communities continual support of their work.

The fashion industry definitely came out to support yesterday evening with everyone from Linda Evangelista and Chanel Iman to Donatella Versace and Dean and Dan Caten from Dsquared2.

There's something to be said about an event that promotes hat-wearing - especially if it involves Prince Harry playing polo for charity. The Veuve Clicquot Manhattan Polo Classic saw the 24-year-old royal win a charity match organised to raise money for AIDS victims in Lesotho, Africa. And did we mention the VIP Lounge was packed?

It was Mother's Day this weekend. What did you do to celebrate? Hopefully not lie to your mum, like Henry Holland, Alek Wek, Magdalena Frackowiak and the ladies of Felder Felder.

Not that we're complaining, but it's not every day you get Justin Timberlake, Liev Schreiber, Bill Clinton and Alek Wek out partying for the same thing. That's the great thing about the New York Academy of Art's annual fete.

Liev, honorary chair, admitted he didn't want to own any Warhol until learning how much it's worth. But hopefully he can appreciate Jason Wu, who was just one of those braving the wintry NYC weather to give a nod to up-and-coming artists.
