You don't have to be a skater to fully appreciate Doodah's limited-edition Supermodel Skateboard Project ads. Unlike most campaigns, the focus isn't on the beautiful clothes. The ads, shot by Claudia Knoepfel, feature a near-naked Isabeli Fontana, Lara Stone, Edita Vilkeviciute and Toni Garn in nothing more than killer heels and their skateboards. Model mogul Erin Wasson is the latest to join the gang in Balmain. Her limited-edition board will be released in mid-August. Only 150 will be made.
In more Wasson news, the model has just secured a small role in Sofia Coppola's new move 'Somewhere'. Erin takes the role of 'Party Girl #1' in the movie that centres around a serial-partying actor living at the Chateau Marmont who gets a suprise visit from his 11-year-old daughter.

Erin Wasson is our favourite rocker-girl model, and understandably we always thought she must have pretty good music taste. She gave an iPod playlist to Modelinia, so check it out and see if Alexander Wang's bestie meets your expectations.

Erin Wasson is the epitome of 'IT' girl. If she's not appearing on the cover of Vogue, ELLE or Esquire, Wasson is working as the muse and confidant of Alexander Wang, or styling the pages of ELLE magazine. If that's not enough, the model recently lanched a successful jewelery line and womenswear line with RVCA.
Wasson recently spoke to The Daily Beast about her current ventures

After Erin Wasson stopped styling for bestie Alexander Wang, the young designer got Alastair McKimm on board. However, Fashionologie report that Calvin Klein stylist Karl Templer is tipped to style Wang's spring/summer 2010 collection next season, replacing McKimm.
Wasson's keeping busy. Joe Zee tweeted that she is busy working on her second styling job at ELLE this week.

If you're not yet excited about New York Fashion Week coming up in a matter of weeks, I'm sure you will be after you watch this.
In the clip Erin Wasson, who is showing her collection for RVCA in Bryant Park in September, talks about the change in direction for the new collection.
‘I wanted to take a departure away from the really dark colors and that sort of rock'n'roll vibe that everyone knows me really well for,’ she said. ‘I based it on the idea of a girl who’s on a journey, which is myself. I’m still embarking on this journey of being a designer and creating things and sharing my vision with the world.’

Sometimes, being the face of Maybelline can come in handy. Since the makeup giant has signed on to be the official cosmetics sponsor of Bryant Park for two years, Erin Wasson gets to go along to New York Fashion Week.
The model has been doing informal collections for her clothing line lately, but this could be a huge step for Alexander Wang's partner in crime. Will her latest collection, inspired by her pit bull, Cream, be a hit?

The Guardian were lucky enough to secure an interview with supermodel and buisnesswoman Erin Wasson, when she was in the UK promoting her line in Selfridges.
What do your clothes say about you?
I think they say that I really couldn't give two shits. It's like, take it or leave it.
Do you have a grooming or makeup routine?
No, I'm pretty low maintenance. As you can tell, I wasn't into my hair today so I put it up in a pompom. On a daily basis, it's a bit of concealer over some spots - and some eyeliner if I feel like stepping it up a notch. I loathe hair salons. People have always told me I am in the wrong business because I can't stand getting my hair cut or having it messed around with. Hairdressers feel as if they've got to be your shrinks. I just want them to do my hair, so I can get out of there.

Over on Modelinia, Erin Wasson gives a video interview about her 'match made in heaven' with Alex. You might know Alex better as Alexander Wang. She also opens up about her jewellery line, styling for the runway and why making friends in the industry is hard. What's slightly distracting is that while Jessica Stam takes off her eye makeup, she looks like she's crying. We hope not.
