Lissy Trullie, one of the year's most hotly tipped singers and a former model, has been chosen as the face of the fall Herve Leger campaign. "Her look and style resonated with our 'urban tribe' inspiration for fall 2009," said Max Azria, designer and chief executive. "Besides being such a unique beauty, she's also an incredibly talented musician."
Perhaps this was especially good timing, since Trullie had to cancel a large part of her European summer tour when her bassist, Ian Fenger, caught swine flu. Well, seeing yourself in a major print campaign can do wonders to boost the spirit.
Richard Kern photographed the campaign and made a music video called 'Ready For The Floor,' featuring dresses from the latest collection.

We don't have to mention that fashion weeks are our favourite parts of the year, and since BCBG was one of the first brands we shopped for as teens, Max Azria has always held a special place in our hearts. Care to see how Mr Azria's latest runway show turned out?

Herve Leger, who debuted his signature line in 1985, created the body-con frocks when he had a lightbulb moment to wrap scrap fabric into a piece of clothing. Bandage dresses were everywhere in the late '80s and early '90s, and then took off again when Leger was relaunced by BCBG's Max Azria in April 2007.
These looks, from Leger's Resort 2010 collection, are basically the newest of the new for the style. Are you in love or over it?

This year's Whitney Art Party was sponsored (again) by Max Azria's brand BCBG, which left plenty of starlets and it-kids browsing auction pieces in their Herve Leger by Max Azria bandage dresses. Refreshingly, Lake Bell wore something more breathable.
In a red BCBG dress with those big shoulders she's been loving lately, the actress looked just as good as a work of art. Do you agree?

Spanx has a new project in the works, and here's a hint: Not all of the new merchandise will need holes to pee through.
Having shown diffusion line DKNY early in the week, it was now time for our second installment of the global brand. Donna Karan is well known for power dressing. Being a New York-based label, collections are made to represent the city's high-flying women. This meant that the collection, as usual, managed to combine just the right amount of sexiness and strength that NYC ladies need.
