So it’s that time of the year again, Vogue Paris’ coveted calendar supplement is out with the magazine’s last issue of the year. So here we are, giving you a peek at the cover before you head out to get yours. Mario Sorrenti shot the months this time around at the Lido in Paris, and he didn’t disappoint. In fact, he’s made 2009’s pin-up girls look rather prim in comparison.
Sorrenti has portrayed hotness to the max with these sensual and atmospheric shots of the girls, who are flooded with vivid disco-light colours and the occasional wisp of smoke. And, far from last year’s collection of 14 models, only three have made the cut for 2010’s edition; Iselin Steiro, Natasha Poly and Raquel Zimmermann posed both nude and in lingerie (and in ropes), staring as Muses for each month. Now, go get your hands on a copy before they’re all gone!
2010’s Pirelli Calendar, the famous ‘corporate gift’ renowned for featuring glamour-slash-artistic-nude photography, is now out. This year, the shoot was photographed by Terry Richardson in Trancoso, Brazil, and features shots taken within the grounds and beaches of the lush tropical resort, UXUA Casa Hotel.
The multinational tyre company has released these undated photos, capturing the likes of Daisy Lowe, Lily Cole, Rosie Huntingdon-Whiteley, Marloes Horst, Catherine McNeil, Georgina Stojiljkovic, Enriko Mihalik, and Miranda Kerr, all looking their best.
