For us Brits across the pond, it can be a nightmare trying to get hold of our favourite American brands without the seven-hour plus plane journey, right? Many brands stock exclusively to the US without options to ship to Britain, and if they do send our goodies to us, charge an extortionate postal rate. Bundle Box, however is providing the answers to our prayers.
Providing us with our own Stateside address, and buying on our behalf to avoid sites that don't accept British credit cards, it allows you to buy from many different American sites and bundle them all into a box of goodies, which will then be shipped to you within five to ten days. Perfect for Christmas shopping without the expensive trip to the Big Apple or LA, the more you bundle in your box, the better the shipping rate, and whilst some of the brands provided currently ship to the UK, there are savings to be had by buying from their hometown! The variety of brands available include 3.1. Phillip Lim, Forever 21 and Tory Burch, making the site a perfect place to do some early Christmas shopping. It's even free to register, so now we have no excuse not to look every inch the Gossip Girl this Winter.

With so many international designer brands showing their Spring/Summer 2010 offerings at the various fashion weeks this season, we would be hard pressed to decide who to award the title of 'hottest international designer brand'. Luckiliy, we didn't have to as The Senken newspaper has just published its findings of its seasonal survey of Japanese retailers. Alexander Wang, who only launched his first full womens collection in 2007 and is currently working on his first menswear range, pipped Givenchy to the top spot having secured twice as many votes as the luxury Parisienne label. In third place was Balmain, followed by Undercover. Prada scooped 5th place ahead of Dries Van Noten, whilst 3.1 Phillip Lim, Comme des Garcons and Yves Saint Laurent came 7th, 8th and 9th respectively.

The fashion industry will soon be busy with excitement as New York Fashion Week kicks off the Spring/Summer 2010 fashion week season. NFW will commence on the 10th September 2009 and is set to attract some 'heavy weights' from the design world. The Bryant Park tents will serve as a temporary home to the likes of Derek Lam, Diane Von Furstenberg, 3.1 Phillip Lim and Narciso Rodriguez, to name but a few.
Others such as Donna Karen, Ralph Lauren and Calvin Klein have opted to show their collections off site in order to lend a more intimate feel to the proceedings, whilst other big names, including Proenza Schouler and Alexander Wang, amongst others, have decided to show their wares downtown at Milk Studios.
Keep your eyes peeled for rising model, Dree Hemmingway. The heiress and great grand-daughter of non other than Ernst Hemmingway has been confirmed to be walking the Calvin Klein runway, before hot-footing it to the London, Milan and Paris catwalks respectively. Watch this space for updates on the NFW collections and festivities in general.

What did we get from the 3.1 Phillip Lim resort collection? A "pirate" rocker who might or might not like white-lace minidresses.

Rachel Weisz chose a free-flowing, embellished LBD from 3.1 Phillip Lim to wear out on Tuesday. Do you like the look she chose for the opening of Brit jewellery designer Solange Azagury-Partridge's New York boutique, or does it verge on Stevie Nicks?
