Stella McCartney is one versatile designer. Her feminine, tailored designs for her eponymous label and her collaboration with high street brands such as H&M and Addidas, have won her legions of style-savvy fans over the years. Now McCartney has decided to corner the children's market too by announcing her plans to release a collection for GapKids and babyGap.
As her debut childrenswear collection, it was only a matter of time before McCartney responded to multiple requests for her to release a collection solely aimed at children. McCartney confessed that the decision was a no-brainer especially as there is a distinct gap in the market for good quality, fashionable and affordable childrens clothing. "I find there's nothing between the two worlds- it's kind of cheap or expensive, and they look like that."
