There isn't really a limit to the Lady Gaga machine. The 'Born This Way' singer is currently on tour, is collaborating with long time stylist Nicola Formichetti on his work at Mugler and yesterday she revealed that she's secured another fashion gig.
The latest deal under her belt is a regular column in V magazine starting in the summer 2011 issue which is set to hit stores in May. The column is said to be a commentary on all things art, fashion and beauty.
It's no secret that the men's shows don't receive the same attention as the women's shows but something tells us that this season will be different. The buzz about Nicola Formichetti's debut collection at Thierry Mugler continues to grow, especially since the house has decided to release sneak peaks of the collection in the last few days.
If that wasn't enough, yesterday it was confirmed that Lady Gaga, who Formichetti styles, will play a major part in the show tomorrow. WWD revealed that the singer will serve as the 'musical director'. Guests will be luck enough to hear never-heard before material from her forthcoming album, Born This Way. As The Cut points out, the last time the singer did this was when she premiered 'Bad Romance' at the Alexander McQueen S/S10 show which ended up crashing the show's livestream so it's safe to say that the move will be beneficial.
