Britney Spears' New Candie's Commercial Arrives
Britney Spears' latest Candie's ad, a 30-second TV spot, attempts to show us what type of fashion would be appropriate for spying on a longish-haired polo player. Apparently, that involves knee-high boots and waist belts. Oh, and the lyrics to 'Radar' should form your inner monologue.

Rate or Slate: Duffy Knows Where the Action Is
Of the new-retro singers, Duffy is pretty much what Mandy Moore was to the girl pop stars of the late '90s. (Amy Winehouse is Xtina, natch, and although she's a non-lipsynching musical genius, Adele has to be Britney because you always get the impression she could go a bit wild.)
Duffy went to Sweden this weekend for Stockholm's 'Where the Action Is' music festival, and she seems to be going a bit more modern with her hairstyle. Do you like her going more natural, or do you miss the beehive?

Britney Spears Shows Off the Cut-out, a New Man
After a concert in Dallas, Ms Britney Jean Spears went out for a little fun and dancing at a local club with her rumoured new man. A backup dancer named Chase Benz. And yes, he's serious with that name.
On a more sartorial note, Britney is looking svelte in one of this season's on-trend cut-out looks. No circus freaks here.

I am sucker for Britney. Whether she is shaving her hair off and having a mental breakdown or on the top of her game, I've always had a soft spot for her. Maybe it's childhood memories of trying to tie my school shirt into a belly top and wearing my hair in bunches so I could look like her after watching the 'Hit me Baby one more Time' music video. However, I can safetly assure you that there is no danger that I will be doing that now.
