Alessandra Ambrosio has a big job for Thursday: opening the 2009 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, which will be held at New York's Lexington Avenue Armory. We can boast a special connection to London, as wing man Alexander Koutny is a Central St Martins grad.

What to expect at the show? How about a bit of sci-fi. With show sections including Magical Journey, All Aboard, Pink Planet, Enchanted Forest, Romantic Journey and Star Trooper, we expect to see fashion-week catwalk trends play out on the VS runway.

This is also the first year for Behati Prinsloo to don wings, and with a gaggle of additional models (Caroline Trentini, Isabeli Fontana, Liu Wen, Chanel Iman and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, to name a few) led by host Heidi Klum, we're sure this will be a bombshell blowout, as usual.

Oh how we love a good high street collaboration, and looking at the preview pictures of Sonia Rykiel's lingerie collection for H&M, this will be another one that we can't wait to get our hands on. Modelled by the likes of Lara Stone, Anne Vyalitsyna and Caroline Trentini, Rykiel's collection boasts beautiful black pieces with baby pink corsages - girly, pretty and still a little bit provocative.

Set to roll out in 1,500 H&M stores worldwide as well as Sonia Rykiel boutiques fromt the 5th of December, Nathalie Rykiel, the president of Sonia Rykiel admitted 'This collaboration fits perfectly with our philosophy... The Sonia Rykiel pour H&M lingerie collection is the ideal way to offer the essence of Rykiel to a great number of women around the world, and a beautiful way to close the year", she explained of the partnership.

Lara Stone isn't the only one getting all of the love. It looks like she has competiton for Carine Roitfeld's heart with French Vogue favourite Daria Werbowy. It's no secret that Roitfeld has a soft spot for the supermodel. Let's just say that she is to French Vogue what Caroline Trentini is to American Vogue.

With that in mind, it was hardly a suprise when it was announced that, like it did with Lara Stone, French Vogue is dedicating an entire issue to Werbowy for August.
