Claire Danes has been earning a reputation for her classic red-carpet looks for the past few years, and last night's CFDA Awards weren't much different. The actress' deep-cut Narciso Rodriguez dress, with a cut-out back, definitely made an appearance backstage. Would you wear it?

Marc Jacobs
When we do post-event wrap-ups, it's easy to focus on the ladies. They have the gowns, the chiffon, the elaborate hair and makeup routines ... but this time, we're looking at the guys. Check out some of the industry's leading designers (from Marc Jacobs to Ralph Lauren to Zac Posen), and let us know what you think.
And just for good measure, we'll give you a look at their leading ladies and gents.

Hilary Rhoda, Coco Rocha
New York's Metropolitan Opera House was teeming with models, celebs and general innovators last night for the Annual American Ballet Theatre Spring Gala. So basically, it was an excuse for people to show off their formal dresses. At the gala: a grade-A showing from Sessilee Lopez, a still-sunglassed Anna Wintour and a jolting use of neon green. We're looking at you, Iman.
Valentino Garavani, Gwyneth Paltrow and Giancarlo Giammetti
This week's premiere of Valentino: The Last Emperor drew the fashion and general A-lists to New York's Museum of Modern Art. How'd you like Anne Hathaway and Diane von Furstenburg watching your documentary? The party continued post-screening at the Plaza Hotel's Oak Room, but we have all the red carpet pics from before.

Who would have thought that The Metropolitan's Opera Gala would cause such a great fashion spectacle?
The event was a triple celebration that, most notably, celebrated the company's 125th-year anniversary, as well as allowing guests to preview its current stars in upcoming roles. It also played tribute to Placido Domingo's 40 years at the house.
With excerpts from 23 different operas, the performances ranged from brief arias to extended scenes.
