Costume designer Consolata Boyle shines in Cheri, a film starring Michelle Pfeiffer as the lover of a courtesan's son, played by Rupert Friend, who slips into a dream world when he's forced to end their relationship. Co-starring Kathy Bates, the film comes out Friday in the UK.
