I like broken starlets. I love to fix things. ... I would love to get like a Courtney Love. Lindsay Lohan I'd be brilliant with.

Michael Kors designs for the jet set. If you didn't know that already you would have definitely caught on after seeing everyone from Zoe Saldana and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley to Courtney Love and Amanda Hearst on the front row. And as you would expect, the collection followed suit.
Like Donna Karan, Kors channeled all things African and exotic in what he called, 'Afri-Luxe' showing a collection with all of the pieces you would expect like leopard and zebra prints on cut out swimsuits and plunged neck dresses and python skin came along the top of a strapless printed maxi dress. The colour palette was earthy as Kors played with deep reds, creams and browns and the models were sent down the runway with sunkissed skin making them look like they had just stepped of a plane.

Courtney Love has been making her rounds of Europe recently. Last month she was in Cannes for the annual Cannes Film Festival and yesterday she attended Hogan and Big Bambu's cocktail party during the 54th International Art Biennale in Venice.
For the event Love decided to move away from white and ivory - which she sported throughout the film festival - and opted for this black strapless over the knee gown and her signature 'just-got-out-of-bed' hair.
What do you think of her look?

It was all going on last night in Cannes as the town plaid host to the 25th amfAR's Cinema Against AIDS Gala. The outfits were the best we've seen so far and definitely out-shone what we saw at the Met Gala this month. Carine Roitfeld lead the pack in white - which is the colour of choice for the night - and turned up the event with Kanye West on her arm, Kirsten Dunst had a fashion moment in Chanel couture and Courtney Love split opinions in an off-white Givenchy creation.

Shortly after 8 p.m., Ms. Love burst into the room with the Marchesa dress slung on one arm and the noted German Neo-Expressionist artist Anselm Kiefer on the other. She was entirely naked and leaning on Mr. Kiefer for support. She made one lap around the room, walking in front of a photographer, an assistant, a hairstylist and me. She pulled over her head a transparent lace dress that covered up nothing, and demanded my assistance — 'Not you,' she said to Mr. Kiefer, who was bent over trying to help her — to stuff her feet into a pair of black Givenchy heels that were zipped up the back and tied with delicate laces in the front. Then she applied a slash of red lipstick in the vicinity of her mouth.
