Lily Allen is the perfect ELLE cover star. After all, her August 2010 cover for the magazine saw her become amongst the first stars to front 'that' Miu Miu dress on a cover and her October 2009 'London Issue' cover helped ELLE beat 27 contenders to win their first D&D Award in 2010.
Her latest cover for the magazine sees the newlywed designer appear in a Dolce & Gabbana outfit on the newsstand cover and Gucci in the subscribers edition. In the magazine she speaks candidly about her first hand experience with unhealthy dietary lifestyles in the fashion and entertainment industry. ‘I hang out with models, the biggest pop stars and, you know, really and honestly, I hate saying this, but none of them are achieving those body shapes by being healthy,’ she said. ‘They’re not just going to the gym two hours a day. They’re not eating or they’re taking speed not to eat. In America everyone abuses that Adderall stuff and people aren’t normal.’
