Today Chanel showed their resort 2012/13 collection at the Palace de Vesailles and to coincide with the show, they also released images from the campaign of their last resort collection. The ads star Daria Strokous styled by Carine Roitfeld sporting their Paris-Bombay doing her best Bhangra poses.

Last season he had us wanting to buy a puppy and now Marc Jacobs' latest campaign for Louis Vuitton has us desperately wanting to wear pastels and embrace all things S/S12 despite the horrible weather outside. “It is all very soft and very sweet, yet at the same time very bold and very graphic,” Jacobs told WWD of the campaign starring Daria Strokous and Kati Nescher and shot by Steven Meisel.

It looks like the latest trend for using Victoria's Secret models isn't simply a trend. Moschino recently signed up Alessandra Ambrosio as the face of their Fall campaign and it looks like Miranda Kerr is in luck too. Alongside Valerija Kelava, Angela Lindvall and Daria Strokous, Miranda Kerr will be shot by Steven Meisel for Prada's Fall 2010 campaign, it was revealed yesterday. The question now is whether the move towards more shapely models is simply a one season wonder or whether it marks a serious shift amongst the big fashion houses? Only time will tell.
