It's a sad time in the model world. Last week we sadly announced the suspected suicide of Tom Nicon and as discussed, the last year has seen the death of Daul Kim and the attempted suicide of Noémie Lenoir. Unfortunately, news broke on Friday of another death in the model world. Bollywood actress and Indian model Viveka Babajee allegedly hanged herself from a fan on the ceiling in her apartment. According to local newspapers, the 37 year-old suffered from severe depression.

As Jezebel's contributor Jenna Sauers said in an article last month, "Suicidal models are fashion's worst trend". All we can do now is hope that the trend does not continue.

The last year has tragically seen a slew of models found dead including Daul Kim and Ambrose Olsen and 22 year-old model, Tom Nicon is the latest added to the list. The French model was found dead in his apartment in Milan a day before fashion week began. According to his friend, Nicon had allegedly fallen from his apartment window. However, whether this was an accident or a suicide attempt is not clear. "He did the Versace fitting this morning," the unnamed friend said. "After that he was supposed to go to his agency but he never arrived. I don't know if it was suicide or if he fell."

Nicon has walked for brands ranging from Burberry and Louis Vuitton to Hugo Boss and Versace and will be greatly missed. An anonymous model told Isaac Likes - a blog based in Milan, "People think we are young and beautiful and rich and happy. But we're not. We go to castings and the directors take one look at us and then we're dismissed. You spend your whole life wondering what's wrong with you. Why didn't I get that job? You're competing with your friends, you're away from your family. The pressure is huge. It's not the fairytale life people would expect."

Despite her rightfully distraught parents insisting that their daughter wouldn't commit suicide, an autopsy has confirmed that beautiful Korean model Daul Kim was not murdered. Questions arose surrounding the cause of her death after it was revealed that Kim had instant messaged her friend about her abusive boyfriend just hours before she was found hanged in her Paris apartment. Her agency finally spoke about the tragedy last week, admitting that "she was not able to live the normal life other girls did at her age", as a spokeswoman for Next told press "we suspect[ed] that she felt confused and lost after reaching the top of her career".

Last week we reported that the stunning 20-year-old super model, Daul Kim, was discovered hanged in her Paris apartment. Later, it emerged that the Paris prosecutor's office ruled her death as a probable suicide, sadly making her the ninth South Korean celebrity to commit suicide this year.

However, it seems additional details of Kim's death are still surfacing. This Monday, French weekly magazine, Paris Match, revealed that sources involved with the investigation said the Seoul-born model left a suicide note. Furthermore, French daily newspaper, Le Parisien, has reported that “multiple sources” have said Kim's father, a Samsung Executive, does not believe she took her own life.

Last week, many read – and reported on – Kim’s blog, speculating that she felt depressed and pressured over the stresses of high fashion modeling. Kim’s blog has now been blocked from public view in an attempt to dampen interest. However, it is clear that blogging was an important part of Kim and was a means to see her life as she wanted it to be understood.

Last week we reported that supermodel Daul Kim had allegedly committed suicide in her Paris apartment and had been discovered by her boyfriend, who is still yet to be named. Since her death, her blog, iliketoforkmyself, which up until last Friday had been available for viewing by the public, has now been restricted to an invitation only basis.

As the investigation around her death continues, the authorities are believed to have been trawling through her blog for clues as to why the 20 year old came to such a tragic end. With regular blogs relating to how tired, lonely and overworked she felt, it comes as no surprise to learn that "Her agency was often trying to get hold of her on her mobile, but she refused to be available all the time."

This week we confirmed that Daul Kim was found dead in her apartment in Paris earlier this week. The 20-year-old (who had walked and starred in campaigns for the likes of Chanel, Dries Van Noten, Maison Martin Margiela and most recently Christopher Kane for Topshop, to name but a few) was found by her yet-to-be-named boyfriend, hanged in her apartment. Police are investigating, but they have said her death appears to have been a suicide.

Despite a busy work schedule, it seems that everything wasn't what it seemed behind closed doors for the quirky 5'10" model, painter and aspiring video filmmaker (she had exhibited a show of her artwork in Seoul). Last month she decided it was time to leave her hometown, having said it made her "mad, depressed and over worked". She relocated from Seoul to Paris and it seemed life was looking up for Kim, who posted on her blog: "I've left Seoul and I'm in Paris - I'm happy!"

This happiness, however, was short-lived by the first week of November, her posts soon took on a darker tone, "I already accept that I relate to nothing. The more I gain, the more lonely it is...I know I'm like a ghost." By her last and final post entitled "Say hi to forever", she attached the video of the song 'I go deep', by British artist Jim Rivers.

She truly will be missed.

In sad news, it has just been confirmed that model Daul Kim was found dead this morning in Paris. In a statement, her agency Next said: "She was a top model and a great friend to all of us at Next. Please respect her family’s privacy at this time of sadness. We will all miss her very much."

Although the cause of death has not been revealed, many are already specualting that it was suicide.

She will be sadly missed.
