Jean Paul Gaultier SS10; Dolce & Gabbana SS10
Fashion and beauty go hand in hand, so it comes as no surprise that we're eager to know what we'll be wearing on our face next season, let alone our bodies. Besides the usual summer beauty trend- beach hair and tanned limbs- we've got the run down of all the newest looks to emerge from the SS10 runways. The only question is, which one will you be wearing come spring time?

Madonna is known for a number of things and her cameleon-like ability to transform her image at the drop of a hat, is just one of them. The all-singing all-dancing queen of pop has been rather busy this year, what with her Sticky and Sweet tour, the Louis Vuitton ad campaign and her burgeoning relationship with Jesus Luz.
Not content with all of the above, amongst other things, the mother of four has now been enlisted by the design duo Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana of Dolce and Gabbana, to star in their new campaign. The twist however, is that she will be starring in the label's menswear campaign as opposed to womenswear. As yet, the D&G camp have not confirmed how the singer will be made-up and styled. If her previous androgynous pin-striped trouser suit look is anything to go by, Madonna looks set to tackle the campaign with amplomb especially, if her boyfriend Luz will be striking a pose by her side. We certainly can't wait to see the pictures.
The fatter the general population, the thinner the idealized woman. And for all the public posturing and blogging, the only force that stopped people from buying clothes and magazines was the souring economy, not righteous indignation over skinny models. Fashion doesn’t just reject the overweight and the obese. It also gives the average a hard time, too; it makes them worry about every cookie eaten at the end of a meal or every exercise commitment that goes unmet. Fashion is a purveyor of status. It is a badge of honor for having outrun, outfasted saddlebags — unless they are floral-printed and made by Dolce & Gabbana. Those who can indulge in fashion feel their prize is that much more valuable.

Iconic threesome, Eva Herzigova, Claudia Schiffer and Naomi Campbell – the supermodels that Testino recently shot nude for Dolce & Gabbana’s Anthology print campaigns – were spotted at Milan Fashion Week along with designer friends Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana last Friday evening helping promote the scents they each front.
According to Vogue.com, Naomi Campbell said: "I'm overwhelmed, this is amazing," as the semi-matching girls, all wearing white tanks, black satin blazers and denim, were welcomed by a crowd of nearly 3,000 people as they turned up at the Rinascente department store to sign autographs and pose for pictures.

Our four favourite fashion capitals all appeal for different reasons, right? As Kelly Cutrone put it, 'London sells edge, New York - commercialism, Paris has an air of mystery and Milan sells sex'. And who else sells sex better than the almighty design duo and kings of Milan, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana. Inviting us to the wild west in their latest collection, D&G played on all of the elements that we've been loving all summer - denim, fringing, suede and mocassin style boots - threw them all together into a collection and notched up the cowgirl sex appeal.

Before the recession hit, Ugly Betty’s wardrobe department had an unlimited budget. Now, however, Wilhelmina Slater’s outfits have to be carefully considered in terms of their price.
“With the economic situation what it is, we scaled down in terms of the type of clothing that we’re getting,” said Vanessa Williams, the actress who plays Wilhelmina Slater. “There was a Naeem Khan dress that went for £1,500 and they watched it and watched and by the time we got it, it was, like, £450. So we are being mindful of the budget and waiting for markdowns on Ugly Betty,” she added.
Although, with Williams recently wearing Rachel Roy, Giambattista Valli, Dolce & Gabbana and vintage Thierry Mugler, things don’t look too bad.

Pringle's LFW afterparty will be bringing back the eighties revival, true and proper. Icons Joan and Jackie Collins are confirmed guests at the afterparty, and will no doubt be creating a stir on the front row seats of the catwalk show that same afternoon.
The all time, and first goddess of Beverly Hills, Jackie Collins is a literary legend, having sold 400 million books. Yes, 400 million! And older sister Joan isn't lacking in any iconic status, either. Having been the 80's 'Dynasty' queen, we have seen the influence she has had on designers such as Giorgio Armani, Dolce & Gabbana, Gucci and Balenciaga, all bearing their glitz and glamour with shoulder padded glory on this season's catwalks. The 76-year-old actress also has a makeover show in the pipeline to air on ITV1 later this year, appropriately named 'Joan Does Glamour', which is currently in filming. No doubt the two sisterly beauties will be rocking London Fashion Week, and we can't wait!
