Mango is fast becoming our favourite high street giant. Not only because they have recently launched a new more affordable range, so that fashionistas need not suffer too much during the current economic climate. No, above all, we love MNG mostly because it has brought us some of the best celebrity/high street collaborations. Having offered the Monica and Penelope Cruz collections, and ad campaigns featuring Scarlett Johansson and Dree Hemingway, which have all gone towards adding even more of a 'cool- factor' to the brand, word from the Mango mill suggests that Moises de la Renta, Oscar de la Renta's adopted son, has signed (or will soon sign) a deal to design for the spanish retailer.

Dree Hemingway of Elite Models surprised London Fashion Week attendees this week as she made an appearance on the catwalk. She had been rumoured to walk for Calvin Klein at New York Fashion Week but this fell through, so it must have been a coup for her to be asked to open the star-studded Topshop show which saw a host of celebrities lining the front row, and closed the House of Holland show.
As one of a few well known models such as Sessilee Lopez, Anna de Rijk and supermodel Naomi Campbell, who strutted down the PPQ, Burberry and Issa runways, respectively, Hemingway can surely pat herself on the back for her LFW achievement. With more ad campaigns, acting roles and movie releases in the pipelines, it looks like 2009 / 2010 is set to be a busy year for her.

Naturally blonde Norwegian Siri Tollerød was spotted on Monday arriving at Zac Posen and later at Marc Jacobs a good few shades lighter than the day before; it seems as though platinum blonde is a look that is set to become increasingly popular.
American model, Dree Hemingway, also appears to be on the platinum bandwagon, as she was seen partying with Another Magazine’s fashion cool kids at the Jane Hotel on Monday night with a much blonder look than we’re used to.
With both models having bright blue eyes, we think the lighter shade really suits the girls - as do Tollerød’s agency, who just posted photos of her with the new style - let’s hope the camera does too.

The fashion industry will soon be busy with excitement as New York Fashion Week kicks off the Spring/Summer 2010 fashion week season. NFW will commence on the 10th September 2009 and is set to attract some 'heavy weights' from the design world. The Bryant Park tents will serve as a temporary home to the likes of Derek Lam, Diane Von Furstenberg, 3.1 Phillip Lim and Narciso Rodriguez, to name but a few.
Others such as Donna Karen, Ralph Lauren and Calvin Klein have opted to show their collections off site in order to lend a more intimate feel to the proceedings, whilst other big names, including Proenza Schouler and Alexander Wang, amongst others, have decided to show their wares downtown at Milk Studios.
Keep your eyes peeled for rising model, Dree Hemmingway. The heiress and great grand-daughter of non other than Ernst Hemmingway has been confirmed to be walking the Calvin Klein runway, before hot-footing it to the London, Milan and Paris catwalks respectively. Watch this space for updates on the NFW collections and festivities in general.

The credit crunch hasn't reached Russia if the latest issue of Vogue Russia is anything to go by. Where most magazines are being cautious of price points and even US Vogue is following suit, Vogue Russia appears to be moving the opposite way. The latest cover showcases diamonds after diamonds on model Dree Hemingway.

Well, shorter than his kneecaps, anyway. The newly crowned winner of the CFDA Swarovski Award for up-and-coming womenswear designs, Alexander Wang, showed a bit of leg at the ceremony and later at The High Line's Opening Summer Benefit presented by Calvin Klein.
Does model Dree Hemingway's date meet your standards?

New York's Metropolitan Opera House was teeming with models, celebs and general innovators last night for the Annual American Ballet Theatre Spring Gala. So basically, it was an excuse for people to show off their formal dresses. At the gala: a grade-A showing from Sessilee Lopez, a still-sunglassed Anna Wintour and a jolting use of neon green. We're looking at you, Iman.

Jessica Biel sported the nude-colour trend at last night's screening of 'Easy Virtue' in New York, although we must say we were more focused on Ben Barnes than her. At the screening and after-party: our favourite Mr Darcy, Marc and Lorenzo and a perfect opportunity to play "Pick Your Favourite Hemingway".
