Lady Gaga expectedly took a lion's share of the attention at Monday's ACE Awards, what with her Victorian-style lace face cover and boudoir hotpants, but it was Betsey Johnson who was flashing her rear by the end of the night. (Apparently, in partnership with the shoe e-tailer Zappos.)
Also at the event, Erin Wasson gave us an Angelina Jolie-effect BBD (big black dress), Marc Jacobs struck a pose with Lorenzo Martone, and Agyness Deyn showed us that false lash after false lash on the bottom lid might just be the next trend.

Wang Mania Reaches Fever-Pitch At Selfridges
On Monday night, Selfridges paid host to none other than the current golden boy of fashion, Alexander Wang. The 25 year old had touched down at the ultra hip department store not only to check out his new pop-up store, but also to be interviewed live by Colin McDowell for the Sunday Times Style's 'In Conversation With' series. With an existing army of fans consisting of teens, young 20 something and upwards, the predominantly Wang-attired teenage audience was a surprise turnout. He spoke about his signature 'model off duty' look which he confirmed were indeed inspired by Erin Wasson but insists that "Erin is more of a friend than a muse- I think that word is out-dated, and I never use it myself."

In the clip Erin Wasson, who is showing her collection for RVCA in Bryant Park in September, talks about the change in direction for the new collection.
‘I wanted to take a departure away from the really dark colors and that sort of rock'n'roll vibe that everyone knows me really well for,’ she said. ‘I based it on the idea of a girl who’s on a journey, which is myself. I’m still embarking on this journey of being a designer and creating things and sharing my vision with the world.’
